The Louis Falco Dance Project, Inc.
The Louis Falco Dance Project, Inc is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) tax-exempt nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, sharing and archiving the choreography and works---spanning four decades---of Louis Falco. We welcome any ideas and input and encourage alumni, associates and friends of Louis Falco and anyone interested in being involved to contact us.
The Corporation was created to:
- provide information to the dance community, to the general public, and dance enthusiasts about the life, legacy, and work of the late choreographer Louis Falco;
- provide general updates and sharing via a regular newsletter;
- increase the general public's awareness and appreciation of modern dance through expansion and integration of Louis Falco's contributions and to insure his place in the tradition of modern dance from which his works have evolved.
To achieve these goals, the Corporation aims:
- to preserve and maintain and archive the choreography, props, costumes, plays, manuscripts, and other items related to the artistic creations of Louis Falco;
- to aid and facilitate works choreographed, designed, inspired, and written by and for Louis Falco;
- to provide opportunities for dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and races to experience and benefit from Louis Falco's creations in multi-varied capacities.
